Aurora chess club Party

On Dec 16 the club will host a party to its members. Also two tournaments will take place – rapid and blitz.

6 round RAPID (15 min) will have a monetary and some special prizes.  Probably will end ~10 pm or so. The tournament will be rated by CFC in Quick rating system. Players list at www.chess-results.com/Tnr1080418.aspx?lan=1

9 round BLITZ (3 min + 2 s) tournament will be only for youth. The trophies for each grade winners will be awarded and qualifications spots to OCC (Ontario Chess Challenged) will be available. It will be rated in CFC Quick and Chess&Math rating systems. For registration the players school grade/class is needed. Players list at www.chess-results.com/Tnr1080415.aspx?lan=1

Welcome to Aurora Chess Club

We are a chess club located in the town of Aurora, Ontario. In November 2011, a small group of players decided that the town of Aurora needed a dynamic chess club where people could meet, connect and play. May 2012 saw the club formed as a non-profit initiative to benefit our community. We are an independent entity that welcomes anyone who shares a love for this wonderful game.
